You can buy parts under Gamefisher or Force since they are identical. Some parts are expensive so ebay might be your best bet. I just bought a 1993 for $200. $300 is the max I would pay for that motor and the cheaper the better.

It is ok for water to come out immediately.If you have no water coming out that means there is no cooling taking place.You can take out the stat and check it by putting it in a glass of cold water for a few minutes and then put it in a glass of warm water and see if it opens at all.It should.Charlie. Neither one runs, but both look like brand new and came with the original manuals and hang tags from when they were sold. There is no paint loss on the prop or skeg on either motor and the spark plugs look new.
