On all my pyro builds, I started by building my melee stat, and once I get to comfortable numbers there (usually around abyss watchers or Deacons), I'll start building int/faith and attunement. Late game, infuse your weapon with chaos/dark since those both scale with int/faith. Pyro spells have fewer casts and tend to hit for less damage than other spells. So for a good pyro build, you need high attunement so you can carry a lot of spells, and so those spells will have more casts. The best way to increase your pyro damage is to upgrade your pyro glove with fireseeds.

At the very least, 24 for 4 spell slots. Unless you feel like you need to use only 2 spells (Chaos Bed Vestige is too good to pass imo). If going for 4, might as well go 30ATN for 5 slots. Make it a combo Pyro/Dex build. That way you aren't tied solely to your pyro spells. They will come in handy, but you have your Dex weapons to fall back on. Including a bow.
