The good part is that these issues are minor and can be fixed quickly with the appropriate tools, skills, and experience. When properly used, serviced, and maintained. The Harley 103 engine can last over 150,000 miles.Zippers 575 or Crane 290-2 or S&S 570 all come to mind so does a Wood TW6. All of these are available in chain drive but if the bike will be racking up miles I would go gear drive. If gear drive is prefered the Wood TW5 could work well too, but may be noisier than the rest. The TW6 is the only "Bolt-in" grind of these.
